I make complex information accessible to the people who need it, whether they’re novices, creative professionals, or technical gurus. Most of my work is related to technology, but I also write about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as climate change and advocacy in a variety of areas.
I’ve been a community organizer — primarily in volunteer leadership roles — for more than thirty years. As a skilled facilitator, I am energized by helping people learn more about systems of power and how to effectively use their voice and skills to challenge the status quo and make real differences for their lives and their communities.
I’ve authored or co-authored 37 books, including several editions of Classroom in a Book titles for Adobe After Effects, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Photoshop. Clients include Adobe, Peachpit Press, HonestCulture, Visio, Agora, NPower, Benetech, AFStudio, Aventail, and WRQ.
